Joaquin Riojas is President of the Texas Federalist Society. He is also an articles editor for the Texas Review of Law & Politics.
He spent his 1L summer as a summer associate at Kirkland & Ellis and will return to the firm for his 2L summer. He also served as a judicial intern to the Hon. Jerry E. Smith of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.
Mr. Riojas is originally from Monterrey, Mexico. Before law school, he earned his B.A. in Economics and Government from Claremont McKenna College and worked for three years in strategy consulting. Outside of law school, he is an avid swimmer.
