Alexander Garcia
Executive Vice President of Planning
Alex Garcia is Executive Vice President of Planning for the Texas Federalist Society, where he helps organize the chapter’s events. In addition to his work with the Federalist Society, he is Susman Godfrey moot court director for the Board of Advocates and an articles editor for the Texas Review of Law & Politics. He won the Gibbs & Bruns Novice Moot Court and the Susman Godfrey Moot Court his 1L year.
His 1L summer, he served as a law clerk in the Solicitor General Division of the Texas Office of the Attorney General. He will be joining the New York office of Sullivan & Cromwell his 2L summer and plans to work in litigation and restructuring.
Mr. Garcia is originally from Saginaw, Michigan. Before law school, he earned his B.A. in International Relations from Michigan State University and interned in the office of State Representative Bryan Posthumus. He also served as an AmeriCorps VISTA volunteer in Detroit.
