Addie Mae Villas
Vice President of Events
Addie Mae Villas is Vice President of Finance for the Texas Federalist Society. She is also an articles editor for the Texas Review of Law & Politics, president of Law Students for Life, competition director for the Judge John R. Brown Admiralty Moot Court Competition, and a Bowden Student Fellow at the Bech-Loughlin First Amendment Center.
She is a law clerk in the Civil Division of the U.S. Department of Justice, working with the Office of Foreign Litigation and the Office of International Judicial Assistance.
Ms. Villas is originally from Dripping Springs, Texas. Before law school, she earned her B.A. in Political Science from New York University Abu Dhabi and her M.M.S. in Global Affairs from Tsinghua University as a Schwarzman Scholar. Outside of law school, she enjoys basketball, marathon running, mahjong, and cooking (especially on Thanksgiving).
